Christmas Capers Brings Festive Fun to Rockingham

The festive season is approaching, and Rockingham Theatre Company is getting ready to bring a little music, mischief and merriment to the stage.

This November and December, Christmas Capers takes over The Castle in Rockingham for a revue of comedy and cabaret, directed by Linda Lockwood.

Rather than your traditional Christmas production, Christmas Capers promises an entertaining mix of music and comedy wrapped up with plenty of festive spirit. It’s the kind of local night out that fits nicely into the lead-up to Christmas, particularly when December calendars start filling with catch-ups, celebrations and end-of-year events.

There are several opportunities to catch the show, with 7:30pm performances on 21, 27 and 28 November and 4 and 5 December. Prefer an afternoon at the theatre? Matinee performances will be held at 2pm on 22 and 29 November and 6 December.

And because the production is right here in Rockingham, it’s easy to turn the performance into more than just a trip to the theatre. Meet for an early dinner at one of Rockingham’s local restaurants before an evening show, or pair a Sunday matinee with lunch and a wander along the foreshore.

It’s also a lovely option if you have friends or family visiting Rockingham as Christmas approaches and you’re looking for something a little different to do together.

Christmas Capers is presented by Rockingham Theatre Company at The Castle, 8 Attwood Way, Rockingham. Tickets are $27 for adults and $25 concession and can be purchased through Rockingham Theatre Company or TryBooking. Tickets are also available from the Rockingham Visitor Centre by credit card.
